DOT Legal 53 Gallon Rectangular Transfer Tank
*For use with Diesel, Gasoline, Kerosene, Methanol, Ethanol and Aviation Fuel.
The AT53RTF is a DOT Legal Rectangular Transfer. We recommend using the Fill-Rite 12V 15GPM Transfer Pump (*sold separately).
The AT53RTF is constructed from Heavy Duty 1/8” Aluminum Diamond Tread. Comes Standard with Locking Fuel Cap.
DOT regulations require a Special Permit to use any Transfer Tank for Gasoline. ATTA has received a Special Permit to allow us to manufacture and sell tanks that can be used for Gasoline. Great for ATVs, UTVs, Lawn Services, Boats, Generators and more.

Important Information
- 1. ATTA, Inc. Special Permit #20416 is valid for use with Diesel, Ethanol, Gasoline, Kerosene, Methanol and Aviation Fuel. The end user is responsible to read ATTA, Inc. Special Permit #20416 before use.
- 2. Warranty card must be returned to ATTA, Inc. within 30 Days of purchase. Failure to return warranty card will void warranty.
- 3. Special Permit is valid for 2.5 years from date of manufacturing.
- 4. Refueling tanks must be retested every 2.5 years in accordance with 49 CFR 180.352. The end user is responsible to keep refueling tank within 49 CFR 180.352 regulations.
- 5. In order to maintain ATTA, Inc. manufacture warranty for refueling tanks, the refueling tank must be maintained within accordance of 49 CFR 180.352 at all times. Failure to have refueling tank retested every 2.5 years will void warranty. ATTA, Inc. must receive documentation of retesting within the 2.5 years limit to maintain ATTA, Inc. manufacture warranty. Failure to send ATTA, Inc. retesting documentation within the 2.5 year limit will void ATTA, Inc. manufacture warranty.
- 6. Refueling tanks must be attended at all times by a qualified person within accordance of 49 CFR 177.834. Do not leave refueling tank unattended.
- 7. No modification of refueling tanks is allowed. Do not weld on any fuel tank. Failure will void warranty.
- 8. Always use proper venting techniques with all fuel tanks.
- 9. All fuel tanks must be installed per instructions with no exceptions. Transfer pumps must be installed per manufacture requirements.
- 10. Vehicle with refueling tank installed must be turned off when transferring fuel. Any vehicle or equipment of which fuel is being transferred to must be turned off. Do not transfer fuel near any heat source or open flame. Only transfer fuel in well ventilated areas.

Commercial Shipping Notice: If you choose the Commercial shipping option without providing a commercial address name, your shipment will be sent to the nearest freight terminal for customer pick-up. Shipping: All aluminum fuel tanks and auxiliary fuel systems are shipped FOB from our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. All purchases from our online store are sent prepaid freight.
We ship all aluminum auxiliary fuel tanks and fuel systems via LTL (Less Than Truckload). Items that are small and light enough may ship via UPS. Shipping and handling fees are applied to all prepaid orders. Freight collect orders will include an additional handling fee on the invoice.
Canada & International Shipments: All Canada (or cross-border) shipments will incur an additional handling fee. Please call for a price quote before placing your order.
To save money and time, we recommend shipping to a commercial address or freight dock pick-up. Residential shipments typically cost double compared to standard commercial deliveries or freight dock pick-up. During checkout, you'll have the option to choose your shipping method. If you select freight dock pick-up, we will contact you with terminal information and a tracking number. The freight terminal will notify you when your shipment arrives. We aim to use a terminal as close to your location as possible.
Lead Times: We strive to prepare your order for shipment as quickly as possible. For up-to-date lead times, please call us at 1-800-773-3047. However, we may be subject to delays from our suppliers. While we do our best, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. We do not control the shipping lanes in or out of our facility—though if we had a magic wand or teleport, we’d use them!
Freight Damage: If your order arrives damaged, you must notify the shipping company immediately. Aluminum Tank & Tank Accessories, Inc. is not responsible for, nor able to file, freight claims. Any missing or damaged shipments must be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. Claims for shipping errors must be made within 5 days of receiving your order.
Returns: Any order returned by the customer is subject to a 15% restocking fee. The customer is also responsible for all freight charges related to the return. Before returning any product, you must obtain an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number from Aluminum Tank & Tank Accessories, Inc. Receiving an RGA or refund is not guaranteed and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

How difficult are these tanks to install?
Anyone with basic mechanical skills can install the Freedom Fill Auxiliary System. Our installation comes standard with every component needed to install our aluminum auxiliary fuel tank to your truck. You may also call us at 1-800-773-3047 for help with your installation.

Will your tanks work in a gasoline truck?
Due to DOT & EPA regulations, we can no longer have available auxiliary fuel tanks for gasoline trucks. Auxiliary fuel tanks and fuel systems are for diesel fuel only.

How do I know what kind of truck bed I have?
A long bed is approximately 8ft and a short bed is approximately 6.5ft.

Will installing this fuel tank void my factory warranty?
No, if you install the auxiliary diesel fuel tank per the instructions and use the components that come with the installation kit, it will not void your factory warranty.
